Dolphin Research Offshore Port Canaveral

Jen and I ventured offshore on Memorial Day with our good friend Eric Mays on his boat Fish Tales, to try and catch some Dolphin (mahi-mahi) so we could cast some new molds. We found the fish in 250' of water and proceeded to catch 9 of them. We also raised two sailfish. The ocean was incredibly beautiful especially after a week of constant rain.

Here is Jen with a small gaffer dolphin.

Hoff Productions Orders 3D Mako Shark For National Geographic

Hoff Productions, who is currently producing a show for National Geographic - Hooked Again: Monster Fish II, recently contacted us for a specific request. They needed a Mako Shark replica that could be filmed from all angles. We created a 61" 3D (viewable from all sides), you can see the mold on our website by clicking HERE, and we finished the shark with a matte, rough textured sealant, giving the replica the natural look as a real mako shark.

Picture #1 - Before it left our facility

Picture #2 - Mako ready for its first filming

Pictures #3 and #4 - Mako In Action - Note, the red line is removed during editing.

Here is more information on Monster Fish II, compliments of Hoff Productions

Recent Customer Testimonials

The first quarter of 2009 has been full of hustle and bustle trying to keep sales going in this economy. Therefore, I apologize for the delay inbetween posts. Here are a few testimonials that came in the past few weeks.

Troy, we received our sailfish on Tuesday and must say, it is awesome. We're still new in the house so not many folks have seen it but I can bet that we'll get some major comments once our friends get to see it. it is perfect for the space and I thank you for working with me to give us a quality and beautiful sailfish! Thank you again.

Good morning
Well it hasn't snowed in 2 weeks which is encouraging. Starting to brainstorm the garage set up for our fish. Our son is an airbrush artist ie. cars tanks helments bulletin large scale, and we're thinking of air brushing the wall just like the night we caught it. That will be awsome. Attached is Christmas morning.

Deb
